How often do you attend folklore concerts? I suspect the answer will be - not that often – even if you are a folklore fan. The explanation is quite simple: alas, there are not that many such concerts to be found!

The next question is: when did you last attend a concert where many diverse nationalities appeared on stage together? Of course, this happens rarely, firstly, because of the costs. And you can imagine how costly it is for musicians to reach their destination all across Russia’s vast expanses!..

Well, that is precisely the sort of concert we are setting off to today! Assembled on a Moscow stage are musicians hailing from different Russian towns, from Yakutia, Altai region, Mordovia, Kalmykiya.  Distant corners of Russia, tens of thousands of kilometers away from each other, striking, vividly dissimilar cultures… A head-spinning, stupendous bouquet offered us by the Russian Folklore Center!
